today we used the LBH and learned about fallacies.
I didn't know that there were so much types of them. some of them are easy to spot but it will be hard to memorize all of the names and which fallacies mean which. i understand that they are important and useful but i feel there is no point in memorizing them.
then we got in groups and worked on a yomiuri article which is mostly Red Harry.
i felt that the things that were written on the article was not convincing me at all.
there is a little chance that eliminating English from entrance exams and having better English teachers at school will make the students like English. in fact, getting English out of entrance tests might even make the students lose motivation to study English because many students will only want to study the things that will be on the exam.
i hope there aren't any fallacies in the things i just mentioned. and I'll have to look for fallacies in my essay as well.
i REALLY wanted to go to LAMBS practice and the Yakiniku today! :(
but i chose study so i hope something good happens to me!
